Staff from AHEC (now Child and Family Research Unit) of Eastern Washington presented last week at the 26th Annual International Trauma Conference in Boston, MA held by the Trauma Center, a program of the Justice Research Institute. Specifically, Chris Blodgett, PhD, Natalie Turner, MS and Kristin Souers, MA hosted workshops covering: Trauma informed systems change in K-12 education – the Washington State and California experience and Making schools trauma-sensitive – the Washington State and California experience II.
