Earlier this month, Jeremy Loudenback wrote an article, “Considering the Unintended Consequences of ACEs Screening”, published on the Chronicles of Social Change website, highlighting the work of Dr. Chris Blodgett, director of the Area Health Education Center (now the Child and Family Research Unit). Dr. Blodgett discusses concerns surrounding the use of universal screening of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s) with out proper training and action planning within the educational system.
