Child and Family Research Unit (CAFRU) Director, Dr. Chris Blodgett, will be presenting at the 2018 Alaska RTI/MTSS Effective Instruction Conference in Anchorage, Alaska. Dr. Blodgett will deliver a full-day session addressing the recognition of and response to trauma behaviors in schools and two breakout sessions. Dr. Blodgett will discuss how to move from ACES to action, what trauma-informed practice really looks like in the classroom, and how to make progress in schools and communities with limited resources. The conference theme is “Reassess – Recharge – Reunite: Reinvigorate Your Classroom, School, or District.”
