Communities

Chelan County Extension offers 2 programs that directly benefit area businesses, community groups and even families and groups of individuals. Both programs are based on experiential or adventure-based learning we call the “Challenge” model. They both utilize the outdoors as the learning venue when participants are exposed to real problems and experiences which they must overcome in a safe group setting.

  1. Corporate Challenge: especially designed for business teams, corporate management groups and others who want to take their performance to the next level of success. This program also offers excellent assistance in corporate team building, problem solving and conflict resolution.
  2. Earth Adventures: provides high quality outdoor experiences for adult and corporate groups fostering character development, self-discovery, appreciation and stewardship of the natural world.
