4-H Earth Adventures provides high quality outdoor experiences fostering character development, self-discovery, appreciation and stewardship of the natural world. Participants gain life skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking and the ability to develop and maintain healthy relationships with self, others and the environment in order to contribute to the local and global community as engaged citizens.
4-H Earth Adventures is not your typical guided wilderness excursion. Our highly trained 4-H facilitators invite and encourage participants to immerse themselves in the adventure of self discovery, and realize that they can accomplish more then they ever dreamed possible.
Because we are part of WSU we really focus on education in many different forms. We teach wilderness skills such as backcountry cooking, map and compass, self care and leave-no-trace principles. 4-H Earth Adventures also teaches about the remote environments our trips take place. We work with the participants on the trip to build a team, work together and build relationships, but also to learn about themselves individually.
4-H Earth Adventures offers year-round programs for teenagers, families, and specialized groups. Contact us to customize an adventure for you and your group today!
4-H Earth Adventures is in collaboration with Washington State University and 4-H youth development programs. We partner with qualified, professional outfitters, guides and contractors for specialty services.
