MASTER GARDENER PROGRAM — MGs in the News

Vancouver — Congratulations to the 252 Master Gardeners who provided 19,277 hours of service to the community in 2014, at a value of over $500,000! Their outreach included 14,160 contacts; teaching children garden and healthy eating in classrooms and school gardens, workshop presentations, outreach at community events, and more.
This award:
- acknowledges special efforts and extraordinary contributions.
- encourages others and illustrate the range of volunteer opportunities.
- shows that volunteers help the county be more responsive, efficient and cost effective.
