Fruit Tree Grafting Workshop –

Learn how to produce your own fruit trees inexpensively, or preserve the lineage of an old apple tree growing on your property. Master Gardeners will give a short overview of the grafting process and demonstrate the techniques for whip & tongue grafting of new trees.

This class is hands-on. Participants will be provided with practice materials and will graft two dwarf apple stock to take home and plant. Care for your newly grafted trees will be discussed. Please bring a sharp grafting knife if you have one and clothes that are warm and can get a bit dirty.

Sunday, March 25 2 to 4pm.

Class size is limited. Location provided upon registration. Cost: $18; includes all supplies except grafting knife.
