How to Preserve Fish and Seafood

Do you love to go fishing, clamming or crabbing and wonder how to best preserve your catch for future enjoyment? In this class you will learn all about the proper methods for freezing and the best packaging methods for that freshly caught flavor, how to smoke your fish and the difference in canning it over non-smoked fish. You’ll also learn the proper methods for canning, what size jars can be used and how to tell if your product is safe, pickling fish and jerky making. Class also covers other seafood including oysters and shrimp. Included in the course are recipes and publications.
