On September 23 at 9:00 am, Master Gardener Billie Bevers will discuss how to raise garlic.  Billie will demonstrate how and when to plant, what to plant and why, how to care for and harvest garlic.  This free class will be held at the Cowlitz Training Center, 1942 First Avenue, Longview.  The workshop is sponsored by the Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners.  For more information, contact Gary Fredricks at 577-3014 Ext 3 or garyf@wsu.edu.
