Weights and Measures Healthy Horse Clinic
March 30, 2018
Sponsored by Grant County Horse Association
At the March 30, 2018 clinic we can complete 4-H horse ownership certificates for any 4-H members who need certificates. April 1 is the date certificates are due.
We are going to weigh using the livestock scale, use a weight tape to estimate weight and measure horse’s height and blanket sizes. Photos will be taken of each horse with all their measurements. No appointment is necessary for weight, measure and photo.
Veterinary services for Equine Coggins Testing, Health Papers, Brand Inspection and / or vaccinations will be schedules by appointment.
Please contact Liz Dickinson, to reserve your time for veterinary services: 509-989-4114 (txt is preferred) │liz@qosi.net │Facebook Messenger
Dr. Sruti Sreerama, or Dr. O’Keiffe, Moses Lake Veterinary Clinic will be available to provide Equine Vaccinations, Coggins Testing, Health Papers and / or Brand Inspection. If you are getting vaccinations, you must also have wellness checkup. Wellness checkup is valuable because if any time over the course of 2018 you need some select emergency meds such as Banamine, the veterinary office may be able to provide it for that horse without the farm call or office visit.
The usual office fee will not be billed if you have services provided during the Healthy Horse Clinic.
