Kah Tai Prairie Preserve; Work and Welcome to Spring Party

Meet at the parking lot within the Port Townsend Golf Course by the Kah Tai Prairie Preserve kiosk. Once again it is time for the spring prairie cleanup event. This year we will eliminate selective invasive spe-cies, enjoy the early blooms, and assess future goals. It may be too early to see the full bloom but we should see camas sprouts, spring gold Lomatium utriculatum, grass –widows Olysynium douglasii, and old man’s whiskers Geum triflorum. Bring gloves and small weeding tools.
