Vashon Twilight Forestry Tour

July 27, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Wednesday July 27th – Vashon

Tour begins at 6:30 p.m. We’ll look at the results of thinning an “escaped” Christmas tree plantation and a young red alder stand; and underplanting for wildlife, edibles, and aesthetics. We’ll also talk about a cost share program that helped with planting on this site.  We will have a dessert potluck following the tour, so please bring something sweet to share.

Location and Directions

Approximate address: 5700 block of SW Luana Beach Rd, Vashon.

Directions: Coming from either north or south end ferries come to 204th and turn east. Just follow the road, continue along the water, go straight through the stop sign and stay left onto Point Robinson Road when Dockton Road veers to the right. Up the hill and just past the corner at the top is the property on the left with, hopefully, other cars.

RSVP Appreciated

(So we can get a head count and contact you if there are any cancellations or changes.) RSVP Online for the Vashon Tour
