Blueberry Park New Garden Shed Grand Opening & Dedication Ceremony

Like a seed that needs ideal conditions to sprout, an idea was planted for the re-vamp of Bremerton’s Blueberry Park. The right amount of planning, financial support and community participation was provided and the community park has grown strong.

WSU Kitsap Master Gardeners have tended the seedling of Blueberry Park since 2009 and donated their time to the   improvement of the park and the enjoyment and education of park visitors with particular attention to young gardeners.  This spring, Kitsap Master Gardeners invite you to celebrate with them at the garden.  They have built a new storage shed to support the Kids Cultivate summer program and their beautiful learning garden.

It takes a community to create joyous spaces to gather, learn and enjoy the outdoors. Please come out and celebrate with the WSU Kitsap Master Gardeners—especially if you’ve not seen this joyous neighborhood gem of Blueberry Park, or not been there lately.
