AgWeatherNet Workshop

February 23, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$5

Weather! It comes; it goes. It determines our activities, do we go; do we stay? Do we plant? How warm is it, how cold was it? These, and many other facets of weather will be covered by guest speaker, Nic Loyd of the WSU Agricultural Weather New Program.

Join us for an information evening about the workings of our own local weather station here in Lewis County on Thursday, February 23rd; 6-8pm at the WSU Lewis County Extension meeting room located in the Historic Courthouse, 351 NW North Street in Chehalis (enter through west end doors). Fee is $5 per family.

AgWeatherNet provides access to current and historical weather data from Washington State University’s automated weather station network along with a range of models and decision aids. The weather data, advisories, customized weather alerts and decision support systems provided by AgWeatherNet and WSU can help improve production and product quality, optimize resource use and reduce environmental impact.
