Diabetes Prevention Program class series

The National Diabetes Prevention Program – Group Lifestyle Balance series is for those with pre-diabetes, those who have had gestational diabetes or those who pass our risk factor quiz https://www.cdc.gov/diabetes/prevention/prediabetes-type2/index.html.
This program can help you lower your risk for type 2 diabetes with gradual, modest lifestyle changes. The program includes year-long support and motivation beginning with twelve weekly class meetings, bi weekly for the next four sessions and then monthly meetings for the last six sessions. The series of classes is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 3 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. with an orientation on April 26 at WSU Skagit County Extension, 11768 Westar Lane, Suite A, Burlington, WA 98233.
