Farmers Market Flash made a visit to your local farmers market every other week to provide:

  • Children’s Art Walks
  • Family Scavenger Hunts
    Kids Activities
  • “Flash” Culinary Demos
  • Market Tours

Farmers Market “Flash” Classes

The farmers market “Flash” culinary class series taught basic cooking skills and nutrition to farmers market shoppers, specifically limited-resource seniors and families with children, at the farmers market and in the community. Using the “Flash” class curriculum these demonstrations were quick, interactive, and specific to teaching selection, preparation, and storage tips about produce available at the farmers market.

  • Root Vegetable Wonders
  • Pulse on Health
