Do you have an abundance of produce from your garden, CSA box, or Farmer’s Market? Food preservation allows you to enjoy local produce all year long. It can be a great way to take advantage of abundant fruits and veggies, improving access in the winter months and decreasing your monthly food costs.  WSU Skagit County Extension offers many ways to support our community in preserving the harvest including workshops, class series, and online publications.

WSU has partnered with Oregon State University and the University of Idaho to create a series of Pacific Northwest Extension publications, available for download at no charge.  The most popular publications are available for download below, but you may visit the WSU Consumer Food Safety page for a more complete list of publications.
