Participants will receive a selection of recipes, guidelines, and articles at each workshop; series participants will receive these plus the items mentioned above.

For a more complete program, these workshops may also be paired with an online offering “Preserve The Taste Of Summer,” a series of eight online lessons for the in-home consumer who wants to learn about food preservation and food safety. • carrot shreds
  • corn
  • yellow-pepper strips
  • peas

  • Whole-wheat tortilla
  • reduced-fat cream cheese
Making the wrap is even easier:

  2. Lay your tortilla flat
  3. Spread some cream cheese on the tortilla
  4. Add you veggies on the tortilla – be sure to leave some room around the edges.

This wrap is incredibly easy to make at any time for any where. Add some chicken strips or tuna to it for a great lunch. Or roll it fast for a quick snack on the go. Have a picnic to go to? – Rainbow Wrap!

Get the kiddos involved in making their own. This lets them be creative with their food and take responsibility of making their own food. Also, helps with getting them to eat more of their much needed veggies!

Don’t forget to eat your rainbow everyday!
