4-H Community Service Projects

Generosity is one of the essential elements of Positive Youth Development (PYD). two hands holding planet Earth, with heart around it.

Each 4-H club in Snohomish County is expected to undertake at least one community service project per year.

Take a look at recent and past projects of 4-H clubs:

  • Wild N Woolies helped out at a sheep-shearing event at Kelsey Creek!
  • Platinum Performance and Equistars 4-H Clubs volunteered at the 2016 Snohomish Senior Center for their annual tea.
  • S.W.E.R.V.E. Robotics 4-H Club organized a gaming marathon to benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital.
  • Wranglers 4-H Club cleaned up gravestones and grounds of the Guard Army of the Republic Cemetery in their community.
  • Broken Bits 4-H Club helped with fence and grounds maintenance and Madison Groves Farm, which rescues horses and makes them available for kids.
  • The 4-H Natural Resources Program helped to plant trees at Catherine Creek.
  • Bark-N-Time 4-H club brought their dogs to visit the residents at Cascade Valley Senior Living
  • Wild N Woollies participated in Wreaths Across America to honor our veterans.
  • Friendly Critters 4-H Club helped with a vaccination clinic, a Duffle/Suitcase drive for foster kids, provided “furry therapy” at assisted living, held a peanut butter drive for the homeless, wrote letters to soldiers, provided parking for turkey shoots, and collected socks & undies for a school district drive!
