Aviation Project & LEAF Challenge Team Meeting

Are you interested in Aviation? This project’s focus will be to design a tethered electric airplane to participate in the LEAF Electric airplane challenge and in doing so, learn about the physics behind flight, use engineering design skills, and learn about careers in the aviation industry.
This project is geared towards intermediates and seniors but younger youth are welcome.
Teams of 1-4 youth will be responsible for designing their electric airplane given the LEAF criteria & constraints, creating a visual display, participating in an oral presentation to the judges, and performance demo of their airplane.
Check the location each week! Most meetings will be at Harvey Airfield but others will be at other locations
