Cascadia Grains Conference

The 2018 conference is presented by WSU Food Systems and proudly supported by Fremont Brewing Company, Old Stove Brewing Company, Shepherd’s Grain and the generosity of many individuals, businesses, and organizations.
- Friday January 19th at various locations and times around Thurston County forFriday Hands-On Field Trips.
- Saturday January 20th full conference from 8 am – 8 pm at the South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, WA.
Bringing together farmers, processors and end‐users, as well as investors, brokers and local government officials to support rebuilding a grain economy west of the Cascade Mountains in Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia through three value-added enterprises – brewing and distilling, baking and other food uses, as well as animal feed.
The Cascadia Bioregion is also referred to as the Pacific Northwest Bioregion and encompasses all of the state of Washington, and portions of Oregon, Idaho, California, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, Yukon, and British Columbia.
