Tech Changemakers

4-H Tech Changemakers is empowering young people to close the divide and provide #Opportunity4All in their communities by providing the education and tools they need to teach digital skills to adults in their communities.

These tech-savvy and community-oriented young people are 4-H Tech Changemakers.

Here in Spokane, we have a small group of young teens from the MLK Jr. Community Center who have dedicated many hours of their afternoons to creating informational videos. They wanted to make these videos short, understandable, and easily accessible for adults who want to enter the work field, or learn new tech skills, even if they are already employed.

These teen teachers agreed that all adults should be comfortable with video conferencing platforms, email basics, and safe job searching. These tech changemakers have been empowered to make a difference in their communities by trying to close the digital gap.
