The WSU Spokane County Extension Agronomy Program collaborates with the WSU Extension Dryland team.

The team’s work is centered around the website www.smallgrains.WSU.edu  which provides current, research-based information pertinent to wheat and barley production.  Topics include grain marketing, soil quality, organic production, weed management, and pest control.  The team publishes a weekly Timely Topic on a hot issue that reaches 900 growers and crop consultants across Eastern Washington, including 200 in Spokane County.
