Basic Vegetable Gardening
April 21 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm| $10
Growing even a little bit of your own vegetables can help save money, provide fresh healthy vegetables, and help make new friends. Join us at your choice of three locations to learn what grows well here, how to build a garden box, how to build good soil, proper watering, proper seed and transplant planting, fertilizing, pest control, and harvesting. WSU Spokane County Extension small farm coordinator, Pat Munts, has been growing vegetables in Spokane for 40 years and has helped develop many community gardens. Free seeds will be available.
