Planning for Farm Profit

Regardless whether you are a new producer or have been raising crops and animals for decades, you will at some point want, and need, to learn some simple ways to maximize your profits. In four evening, this class will offer an overview of the business planning process, get you moving towards marketing research and introduce you to the concepts of bookkeeping, IRS Schedule F tax planning, accounting and cash flow forecasting. The course will have follow-up one-on-one assistance from the instructor including setting up a computer-based accounting package. Les Linton has years of experience setting up and teaching business plan development.

Cost: $40 per person
