April 8 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

| $50

graftingGrafting is an horticultural technique used to join parts from two plants so that they appear to grow as a single plant. In grafting, the upper part (scion) of one plant grows on the root system (rootstock) of another plant. The rootstock contributes vigor and disease resistance while the scion is chosen for fruit flavor and quality.  Come and learn techniques for tomato grafting. Each student will bring home four grafted tomatoes.
