Colville, WA – The WSU Stevens County Extension office will be holding an Open House event October 28 from 10am-2pm at the Ag and Trade Center in Colville.  Representatives from WSU Master Gardeners, 4-H, Community and Economic Development, Agriculture and the Stevens County Conservation District will be present.

Come down and have an opportunity to learn more about various extension programs, meet 4-H clubs, participate in hands on activities and have a chance at some great door prizes.

The WSU Master Gardeners will have a pumpkin painting station. Debra Hansen, Extension Director, will be available to talk about the Stevens County Broadband Action team.  There will be a gadget garage to explore. Nils Johnson, Agriculture Coordinator, will be on hand to demonstrate drip irrigation techniques. Various 4-H clubs will be present to discuss what their club does and have activities to participate in. If you have ever been interested in joining 4-H or becoming a Master Gardener please stop by and learn more about our programs.
