DESCRIPTION:Registration opens October 15th and closes November 2nd in 4-H Online “Shooting Sports Level 1 Whidbey November 2026” \n\n\n\nAre you currently a 4-H volunteer that would like to be certified in Archery\, Rifle\, Shotgun\, Muzzleloading or Pistol in your 4-H County club program\, or to renew your certification? Volunteers need to be certified in a discipline to add these projects to their volunteer profile in 4-H Online.  \n\n\n\nOur next 4-H Level 1 Shooting Sports training will be held: Whidbey Island Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club\, 3334 Brooks Hill Road\, Langley\, WA 98260.  \n\n\n\nFriday\, November 6th 6:00-8:00 pm – Zoom Classroom Training \n\nClassroom training via Zoom\n\n\n\nIncludes risk management + 1-hour QPR suicide prevention\n\n\n\nZoom link: will be sent to you after registration \n\n\n\nIf you can’t attend\, email 4h.shooting.sports@wsu.edu for a makeup session (required for certification).\n\nSaturday\, November 7th – in-person – Archery\, Pistol\, Rifle\, Shotgun \nSunday\, November 8th –  in person – Archery\, Muzzleloading\, Rifle\, Shotgun \nIf you are a new Shooting Sports Volunteer you will also need to take the National Shooting Sports online module before you can be certified to join the project.  \n\n\n\n\n\nHours are 8 am – 5 pm with a working lunch.  \n\n\n\nCost: to be determined \nThere is also a required e-learning module that will be sent to all participants upon registration.  \n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration opens October 15th and closes November 2nd.  \n\n\n\nGo to 4-H Online click on Events and select Shooting Sports Level 1 Training – Whidbey November 2026. to complete your registration after October 2nd or at 4-H Shooting Sports Level 1 Training Registration \n4-H Shooting Sports registration – Whidbey Island training opens October 15th \n\n\n\nThis training will be held at the Whidbey Island Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club\, 3334 Brooks Hill Road\, Langley\, WA.  \n\n\n\nNote – New volunteers: Please do not sign up for the Shooting Sports project in 4-H Online until your training has been completed\, otherwise your registration may be delayed; remove the project before finishing registration in the Whidbey training event. You can register as a volunteer without a project listed. \nPayment Information: The cost of the training is $60 for first discipline\, $35 for a second discipline to be paid in full at the time of registration approval in 4-H Online Events. There will be a delay in your submission and our approval as we finalize discipline schedules. You will not be charged until the schedule is finalized at the close of registration (after November 2nd.)
