{"id":8641,"date":"2025-08-19T09:43:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-19T16:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/asotin\/?page_id=8641"},"modified":"2025-08-21T08:06:25","modified_gmt":"2025-08-21T15:06:25","slug":"4-h-enrollment-fact-sheet","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/asotin\/4h-youth-development\/join-4-h\/4-h-enrollment-fact-sheet\/","title":{"rendered":"4-H Enrollment Fact Sheet"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Everyone should read the General Information section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, there are specific sections for New Members, Returning Members, and Volunteer Leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The 4-H Online system will <strong>open for enrollment beginning on Oct 1, 2025.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>deadline <\/strong>to enroll, if you wish to compete in the 2025 Asotin County Fair, is <strong>Nov 17th, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All required fields must be filled in to continue to the next page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must complete all steps in the enrollment process and then hit the submit button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carefully review all your information before submitting.&nbsp; We often send out informative emails through 4-H Online so <strong>it is important that your email is correct<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After submitting your enrollment, it will be pending approval by the Extension Office. <strong>The enrollment fee must be paid before your enrollment is approved and you are considered active.<\/strong>&nbsp; Fees can be paid online using a credit or debit card, with cash or check at the Extension Office directly, or by mail (to PO Box 9 in Asotin).&nbsp; Please make checks payable to WSU<strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; Some club leaders may collect fees for the group and send them to our office.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The enrollment fee will be $35 for all members except Cloverbuds, which will be $25.&nbsp; Volunteer leaders do not pay enrollment fees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need assistance with the enrollment fee, <strong>scholarship request forms are available<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To enroll a new person under your family profile, go to the <strong>Add Member<\/strong> tab on the member page then choose youth or adult from the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Families<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Always get approval from the 4-H leader before enrolling in a club<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may join more than one club<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Families new to 4-H must set up a profile using a <strong>valid email<\/strong> and a secure password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters and include at least one number and one symbol or capital.&nbsp; <strong>Save your password.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carefully follow the directions for enrolling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need assistance, contact the Extension Office by phone 243-2009 or email <a href=\"mailto:j.kaufman@wsu.edu\">j.kaufman@wsu.edu<\/a>\u00a0or \u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jreed@asotincountywa.org\">jreed@asotincountywa.org<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you have completed the enrollment, it will be sent to the Extension Office for approval.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Returning Families<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Log on using your email and password from last year.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have forgotten your password, you can re-set it by checking \u201cI forgot my password\u201d button on the login screen.&nbsp; The Extension Office can also re-set it for you.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>You must use the email that you enrolled with last year<\/strong>.\u00a0If this has changed, log in with the old email and then change the information once you have logged in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you cannot log in, <strong>Do Not Create a New Profile!!!!!!<\/strong>\u00a0 Contact the Extension Office for assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leaders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Adult volunteers enroll in 4-H under the existing family profile for their children.\u00a0If you do not have children in  4-H you will need to create a profile for yourself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leaders need to list the projects that they participate in and indicate what type of volunteer you are; general leader, project leader, activity leader. If you are not certain, please contact the 4-H coordinator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteer leaders do not pay enrollment fees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>All volunteers are required to complete training before enrolling.<\/strong>\u00a0Contact the Extension Office for assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everyone should read the General Information section.
