Agricultural production in Chelan and Douglas Counties is at the heart of who we are and the driver of our economies.  Diversification and expansion of other business and industrial enterprises have complemented the area’s ability to grow and sustain an increasing population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within our counties, tree fruit, cereal grains and livestock production have been the steady backbone of the agricultural industry for over a century.  WSU Extension has been and continues to be an integral part of helping these industries thrive as viable, sustainable partners in the continued growth of our area<\/p>\n\n\n
