Contact your preferred location<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WSU Douglas County Extension \u2013 <\/strong>203 S Rainer St \u2013 Waterville \u2013 509-745-8531<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Testing Times \u2013 Tuesday &amp; Thursdays &#8211; 9:00 AM &amp; 1:30 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WSU Chelan County Extension <\/strong>\u2013 412 Washington St. \u2013 Wenatchee \u2013 509-667-6540<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Testing Times &#8211; Wenatchee \u2013 Monday\u2019s only \u2013 9:00 AM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WSDA Computer Based Pesticide Testing Now Available!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re excited to announce that&nbsp;<strong>WSU Chelan &amp; Douglas County Extension &#8211;<\/strong>&nbsp;now offers&nbsp;<strong>Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) computer-based testing<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 giving you access to more than 25 WSDA exams!  This means a faster, more convenient experience with immediate results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to register for a computer-based exam:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrosignup.com\/Washington\/LetsGo.asp?43167687947776394880007665376654682931459858328282\">WSDA<\/a> and create an account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With your new account, you will submit an application to be approved by WSDA to test for yourself or employee. Make sure to select the correct license type and pay for the license application fee, if you have not already paid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon WSDA approval you will receive an email with a link back to www.metrosignup.com to schedule your exams at the most convenient testing center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Call Metro Institute for help with registering, applying or scheduling: 877-533-2900.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you cannot make your exam appointment for any reason, you may reschedule at no charge with at least 24 hours\u2019 notice. No shows or late rescheduling will not be refunded.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Day of Testing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Arrive on time (late entry may be denied)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring <strong>valid government photo ID<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring your <strong>Social Security card<\/strong> or know your number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn off cell phone or leave it in your vehicle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be <strong>18 years or older<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be provided with a simple calculator, pencil or pen and scratch paper which you must turn in after completing your exam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Exams Offered<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Private Applicator<\/strong> (<strong>Available in English &amp; Spanish<\/strong>) \u2013 The Private Applicator license<strong> (<em>annual fee $45.00)<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; Uses or supervises the use of any pesticide through chemigation equipment or restricted use pesticides on land or property owned or rented by them or their employer for the purpose of producing an agricultural commodity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Limited Private Applicator \u2013 <\/strong>The Limited Private Applicator License <strong><em>(5-year license fee $40.00)<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; Use or supervise the use of restricted use herbicides on non-production agricultural land and in mixed rangeland-timer areas to control weeds designated for mandatory control.  Only valid in Eastern Washington.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rancher Private Applicator \u2013 <\/strong>The Rancher Private Applicator License <strong><em>(5-year license fee $45.00)<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; Use or supervise the use of restricted use herbicides on non-production agricultural land and in mixed rangland-timer areas to control weeds designated for mandatory control.  May also use restricted use herbicides and rodenticides on limited production agricultural land where hay and grain are grown primarily for on-farm use.  Only valid in Eastern Washington.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pesticide License Study Manuals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Study materials for pesticide tests are available for purchase at the WSU Extension offices.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Private Applicator Education Manual (EM020) \u2013 Also used for Limited &amp; Rancher Private Applicato<\/strong>r test<br>Available in English &amp; Spanish \u2014 <strong>$25.25<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Exam Results<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Your paper exam scores will be mailed directly to you from WSDA in <strong>7\u201310 business days<\/strong>. This list is representative but is not exhaustive.
