Applying our knowledge to Urban Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The WSU Chelan County Extension Urban Horticulture program is primarily intended to assist commercial enterprises, schools and others learn about the current research and knowledge to improve and\/or maintain the beauty of their property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rocky Reach Arboretum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Urban Horticulture\u00a0and the Chelan PUD work together to provide county residents and visitors a learning center to understand the variety of trees that will grow in this climate. The Rocky Reach Park Arboretum is located at the PUD’s Rocky Reach Dam Visitors Center<\/a>, located north of Wenatchee on the Columbia River. It\u00a0provides visitors with a brochure describing\u00a0a self-guided tour throughout the grounds.\u00a0 View a brochure (pdf)<\/a>.
