Welcome to Chelan\/Douglas County 4-H!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are a youth organization with a mission of engaging youth to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of positive youth development. It is open to all youth, ages 5 to 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though typically thought of as an agriculturally focused organization as a result of its history, 4-H today focuses on citizenship, healthy living, science, engineering and technology, and animal science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the club structure that many are familiar with, Washington State University 4-H offers activities for families that can be done outside of a commitment to a club, and resources for educators to use in their classrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do we do?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Currently, Chelan\/Douglas County 4-H has a variety of programs and projects that youth ages 5-18 can participate in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you don\u2019t see a project that interests you, check out the Washington State University 4-H Youth Development Program website for a complete list of 4-H Projects<\/span><\/a>.<\/span> There are so many neat opportunities available, sometimes we just need the right person to get it started!  Please contact the 4-H Office to see if we can team up.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n
