MetLife Foundation Award of Excellence in Afterschool Programming. This $2,000 award will be presented at the upcoming NAE4-HA Conference in Omaha, NE. Based on our Program of Distinction application and continued success, we are recipients of one of only 4 awards given out this year.  2011

Connecting Youth with Nature through Natural Resources Conservation Education Award: from US Fish & Wildlife at the 75th North American Wildlife and Natural Resource Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, sponsored by the Wildlife Management Institute, 2010. Click here for details

Program of Distinction: from National 4-H Council and the US Fish and Wildlife agency for implementing a complete curriculum that evaluates to impacts and has community partners as a critical component, 2008. Click here for details

Dr. Jim Duncan Award: from the National 4-H Council in recognition of programs and Extension educators who reach the highest standard of excellence in youth development programming, 2008.

Achievement Award: from the National Association of County Officials (NACO) at their national meeting in 2006 for programs of Educational Excellence.

Caring for the Land: US Forest Service award for outstanding program in natural resource education and community service, at the their national meeting, 2005
