P-T Poultry Testing- Saturday, June 24^th10-Noon at the Fairgrounds.  Poultry Pullorum-Typhoid (P-T) Testing Clinic.  This clinic is for birds that you are planning to Exhibit at the Clallam County Fair.   4-H/FFA birds have priority.   WSDA Veterinarians, Dr. Lyndon Badcoe and Dr. Thomas Gilliom will come to Clallam County for a Poultry Testing Clinic.

• The tests at this clinic will have immediate results.
• There is no charge.
• Birds must have a leg band before they arrive!

***See information below about the P-T testing requirement for birds going to fair.  Birds that need to be tested are birds that DO NOT have receipts from a NPIP participant, hatchery or feed store OR are older than 1 year old.  If your birds meet the requirements below, they do not need to be tested.***

Assistance Needed-

We need at least 4 adult or teen volunteers to help hold birds and scribe for the vets.  Sign up on the sign up genius (link below) if you are able to be a volunteer.  This is a great opportunity for our teen members to participate in service Learning.

• Sign up birds individually.  10 birds per each 15 minute time slot so you have a general time frame and ideally don’t have to wait too long.  Limit 5 birds/youth.  Additional birds may be listed on the waiting list.
• Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your time to complete the paperwork.  
• If you are not present with your birds ready to go at your time slot, we will move on to the next birds that are ready.  If you miss your time slot, you may have to wait until the end of the clinic.
