The Annual Garden Tour is an event of the Master Gardener Foundation of Clallam County, a unique opportunity to gain inspiration from private gardens within our community.

$15 early-bird online ticket sales open at noon on April 15: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/4058324.

$20 day-of tickets will be available at the Woodcock Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road, in Sequim, beginning at 9:00 am on the day of the tour.

Six home gardeners have agreed to allow the Clallam County Master Gardeners to highlight their gardens in the 2019 Sequim Petals & Pathways Garden Tour:

Garden 1 is 10 years old and was converted from a cow pasture with extensive horsetail. There is a small waterfall that flows from a natural spring and a recycled wood greenhouse.

Garden 2 is a mature garden with many graveled paths winding throughout. This garden uses a “green cone” method of composting to nourish the extensive and diverse species of plants.

Garden 3 is 5 years old on 1.25 acres behind a 20-year old house. There are at least 75 trees, shrubs, and perennials the homeowners brought with them from another home. They have created clever wood panels in zig-zag patterns to separate their garden space.

Garden 4 is a 1.5-acre garden with welcoming Leyland cypress to provide privacy and windbreak. Flagstone paths wind around the water feature to heighten the senses of sight and hearing as you walk among the numerous plantings of sedums, shrubs, raised beds and berries.

Garden 5 is a 5-acre parcel hugging the Dungeness River. The yard art includes a repurposed iron bed. Perennials and open grassy spaces invite the visitor to stroll at leisure to enjoy the varieties.

Garden 6 is a mature 15-year old property on Bell Hill with an extensive water feature, an ample grouping of rhodies, and evergreen varieties. The annuals are interspersed, yielding eye-catching color contrasts.
