Farm Tour: Raising Grass Fed Livestock

Join Clallam Conservation District staff, and owners of Bent Gate Farm, on a tour of their intensive, pasture-based operation where they produce grass fed beef, lamb, goats, and pork.
Workshops participants will learn about their multi-species rotational grazing system, irrigation based on soil moisture monitoring, techniques they have used to reseed pastures, and their seasonal management techniques to allow pastures to recover during the winter months.
