Helping Native Birds Survive through Gardening and Landscape Practices, part 2 (live online via Zoom))

May 13, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

Carolyn Wilcox, naturalist, and owner of Experience Olympic Guide Services, will be returning to present the second part of her series on supporting native birds in home landscapes. Her presentation will be streamed live via Zoom from 1-2pm. In April she shared that 1 in 4 birds in North America have disappeared since 1970, and the major contributing factors. She also discussed some ways to attract and support birds in home gardens.

In the second part of her talk, Carolyn will continue to talk about recovering bird populations, important landscape features, and how invasive plants relate to bird populations and health.
