Second Saturday Garden Walk at 5th Street – September 10, 2022

September 10, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Free

Clallam County Master Gardeners (pictured from left to right) Jan Bartron, Audreen Williams, Bob Cain and Laurel Moulton will host the last Second Saturday Garden Walk of the 2022 season on September 10 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

This month’s focus will be on getting tomatoes to ripen, using cover crops to reinvigorate garden soils, and saving seeds. For those of you needing a break from vegetable gardening, then the topic of putting the garden to bed would be relevant to your gardening needs.

They invite you to bring your vegetable gardening questions and share your vegetable gardening experiences.

All Second Saturday Walks at Fifth Street Community Garden in Port Angeles occur rain or shine and are free and open to the public. The garden is located at 328 E. Fifth Street, Port Angeles, just off Peabody Street and right across from City Hall.

For more information, about Second Saturday Garden Walks or other educational outreach programs, call the Washington State University Extension at 360-565-2679.
