Two demonstration sites are maintained by Clallam County Master Gardeners. At each of these sites, the community can attend scheduled classes and workshops or visit any time to learn from demonstrations and observe plants that grow well in our area, recommended planting practices and more. Visitors can also enjoy each garden\u2019s unique beauty and large variety of ornamental plants, vegetables and fruits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Woodcock Demonstration Garden<\/strong> is located at 2711 Woodcock Road in Sequim, WA. The garden demonstrates a broad range of ornamental and edible plants, native\u00a0gardening, composting, and garden design. The extensive organic vegetable display area includes examples of vegetables that grow well throughout the year, and demonstrates growing techniques and tools that will help you get the most out of your home vegetable garden. Gardens also includes perennial beds, an herb garden, an extensive orchard and berry displays (including rare and unusual fruit), a mushroom garden, pollinator garden, a native meadow demonstration, rose garden and more.\u00a0The Woodcock Demonstration Garden has a classroom and an outdoor pavilion where Plant clinics<\/a>, free lectures, and workshops are held from May through October.\u00a0 The garden is open to the public during daylight hours year-round.
