Page<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fitting &amp; Showing Guide, Cat Unit 1, Unit 2 and Unit 3 are the main sources for show questions.&nbsp; Additionally, lists of cat questions and answers based on the units, cage decoration guidelines, and a Cloverbud vocabulary list are available upon request from the Extension office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Curriculum is available for check out at the Clallam County 4-H Extension office.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__86700\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\"><strong>Breed\/Animal Requirements<\/strong><\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__86700\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<ul>\n<li>Cats may be purebred or crossbred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kittens must be at least 4 months old at time of County Fair.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Animals will be vet-checked prior to enter in fair and must be free of parasites and diseases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cats must provide a completed, signed <a href=\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/wp-extension\/uploads\/sites\/2069\/2018\/01\/Rabies-Vaccination-Certificate-cat-dog.pdf\">printable Rabies Vaccination Certificate (PDF)<\/a>&nbsp;showing proof of a current distemper series with chlamydia and proof of rabies vaccination to enter at fair.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Feline Leukemia test and shots are suggested but not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__30630\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__30630\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<ul>\n<li>Enter animals using a Clallam County Fair 4-H Entry Form(s) postmarked by July 1<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All 4-H members showing animals must enter Fitting and Showing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cat project members must enter at least one Educational Poster in the Cat project area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Members may enter more than one cat. Contact the Barn Superintendent for entry limits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Vet\u2019s word is final. Typical attire includes: no jeans, no shorts, long-sleeved shirt for Fitting and Showing. Hair pulled back, no jewelry, no nail polish, well groomed, no open toed shoes.&nbsp; Judges would prefer for participants to wear clothing colors that disguise cat hair.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__95891\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\"><strong>Equipment<\/strong><\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__95891\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>\u201cH\u201d type harness, Lead and grooming equipment. Minimum cage decorations\/equipment required: material around cage, food, water, litter box and cover. See State 4-H fair Exhibitor\u2019s guide and\/or ask barn Superintendent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At State Fair:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Each Species of animal stalls as a county.
