1st.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To enroll in large animal projects, members must be age 8 by October 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;of the 4-H year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project animals must be under the management and care of the 4-H member 90 days prior to fair (except Dairy Heifer Replacement).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__21856\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>Animals will be vet-checked prior to entry in fair and must be free of parasites and diseases.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__96848\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">County Fair Requirements<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__96848\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<ul>\n<li>All Cattle must have RFID tag to be entered into the Clallam County Fair.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter animals using a Clallam County Fair 4-H Entry Form(s) postmarked by July 1<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dairy animals must have a completed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.extension.wsu.edu\/4h-dairy-certificate\">Dairy Certificate (C0234)<\/a>&nbsp;mailed to the Barn Superintendent July 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;with animal entry forms. This certificate must be complete, including tattoo and tag numbers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Vet\u2019s word is final. Always treat the vet with respect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__78704\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">Customary Showing Attire<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__78704\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>Although no official dress code is required, it is customary for 4-H Youth to wear clothing that is neat, clean and professional. Dairy participants typically wear white clothing. White shirts, white jeans or white coveralls are all appropriate. Western boots or good, sturdy leather shoes must be worn. Questions are based on Swine, Dairy, Beef, and Sheep Quality Assurance Kits available for clubs to check out from the Extension office.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__2429\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">Round Robin Contest<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__2429\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>Top Senior &amp; Intermediate 4-H exhibitors in Beef, Sheep, Swine, Dairy, Goats &amp; Llamas compete against each other for the title of overall best showman. Rules are outlined in the Clallam County Fair Exhibitor Guide. Show is traditionally held at noon on the Sunday of fair.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__81772\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">Fairs<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__81772\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">State Fair<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/4h\/fairs\/state-4-h-fair\/\">4-H State Fair Exhibitor Guide<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>State Fair Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>4-H\u2019er must notify the County Fair Barn Superintendent of the animal project they wish to enter at State Fair by Sunday morning of the county fair.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be a part of the qualifying allotment. See State 4-H fair Exhibitor\u2019s guide, and or ask barn Superintendent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At State Fair:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Each Species of animal stalls as a county.
