\"4-H'ers<\/a><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Members must be enrolled in Leadership, Service Learning, KYG or Citizenship projects by June 1st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Junior Leaders<\/strong> are intermediates <\/strong>(ages 11-13). Teen Leaders <\/strong>are seniors (ages 14-18). All intermediate and and senior members are encouraged to enroll in a Leadership project. Members who enroll in a Leadership project are members who take a role in leading the group or other members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Know Your Government <\/strong>(KYG) is a “short term” project that meets at the County level. High School age members (grades 9-12) may participate. Youth do not need to be enrolled in a 4-H club to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ambassadors <\/strong>are members ages 14-18 years old. General focus is on fun and service to the community and other 4-H programs within the county, state, and nationally. Teens may be elected as representatives to the County 4-H Council, State Fair Board, or State 4-H Advisory Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WA State Equity & Inclusion Task Force: <\/strong>\u200bThe purpose of the Washington State 4-H Teen Equity and Inclusion Task Force<\/a> is to facilitate and support an inclusive 4-H youth organization. Using compassion and empathy, we strive to create an open and safe environment to celebrate and embrace our diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many opportunities at the county level and beyond for participation in the 4-H Leadership special events. Examples include: District Teen Rallies, Teen summit, WA State 4-H Forum, Citizenship Washington Focus, and many more.
