Food Preservation volunteers must be certified according to the WA State 4-H Contact the Extension office for information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Record Book<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Complete a Clallam County 4-H Record Book with separate project record section for each project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.extension.wsu.edu\/4-h-projects-and-publications\">WSU 4-H Publications<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Curriculum is available for check out at the Clallam County 4-H Extension office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">County Fair Participation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Qualifying members may participate in the 4-H Building at the Clallam County Fair and earn ribbons and Participation may include Record Books, Educational Posters &amp; Displays, 4-H in Action, Demonstrations, Club Displays and\/or booths, and project equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Members in Home Arts projects may enter as many exhibits in their project area as allowed in the specific class information listed in the Exhibitor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Members participating in Home Arts projects may participate in Foods or Clothing and Textile Activities (details in the Exhibitor guide).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Members entering exhibits, activities or contests in the 4-H Building must participate in a minimum of 1 hour of herdsmanship duty to receive their fair exhibitor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Awards<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>See Clallam County 4-H Awards Handbook for award information and application instructions. Awards are &nbsp;given out at the Clallam County Celebrate 4-H Achievement Day in fall!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specific Project Area Awards for these projects are the Alta Hoy Trophy and Elm Plaque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">State Fair Participation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Qualifying blue ribbon entries may be exhibited at the State 4-H Entry forms and tags will be available on Sunday of Fair at the 4-H building. If possible, exhibits may be transported via mail by Extension office staff.
