Members must be enrolled in the Self-Determined Animal Science, Pets, or Exploring the World of Small Animals project by June 1st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Small Animal Projects are open to all age divisions including Cloverbuds. Members must be age 8 by October 1st to exhibit any large animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project animals must be under the management and care of the 4-H member 45 days prior to fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is for animals that do not have their own project. Animals may be purebred or crossbred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Animals will be vet. checked prior to the enter in fair and must be free of parasites and diseases. No specific vaccinations are required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples of animals for the project include: Mice, Rats, Gerbils, Hedgehogs, Prairie Dogs, Lizards, Snakes, Turtles, or Fish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curriculum and resources are available for check out at the Clallam County 4-H Extension Office.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
