Likewise, nothing is more discouraging than standing in the produce section at the grocery store and not being able to find that specialty herb or vegetable you seek, or discovering the costly price and poor quality. “Shopping” in your own home garden is not only cost effective but the product is always fresher, more flavorful, a better quality and always readily available. Growing culinary herbs/spices, aromatics and specialty vegetables in the North Olympic Peninsula is not only easy but it’s one of the simplest, most economic ways to be self-sufficient and grow “garden to table produce” throughout the year, while taking your culinary skills to the next level.

Join Clallam County Master Gardener, Pam Pace for:

“Growing, Harvesting, Cooking and Preserving with Culinary Herbs, Spices, Aromatics and Specialty Vegetables”

A Digging Deeper Saturday presentation on

Saturday June 29th, 2024 from 10:30 am to Noon

at the Woodcock Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road in Sequim

Pam will talk about her favorite herbs, aromatics, and specialty vegetables that grow so beautifully in our area. She combines her love and knowledge of cooking and gardening for this “Digging Deeper Saturdays” presentation.
