Vancouver — Our very own Julie Carlsen was a finalist for the 2017 Clark County Green Volunteer of the Year Award. Nominated for her years-long dedication to the WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardener Program, the Master Gardener Foundation of Clark County, and SW WA NatureScaping, Julie was nominated for her work on numerous projects with these three organizations.
Julie is pictured here with her fan club at the event on Thursday, March 23 at Kiggins Theater. While she did not ultimately win the award, she is an exemplary volunteer and an incredible human being. Congratulations, Julie!
