SUMMARY:Well and Septic System Maintenance Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Get Septic Certified and Save Money \n\n\n\nClark County\, WA – Do you have a gravity-fed septic system? Did you know Clark County requires you to have your gravity-fed septic system inspected every 3 years? Coming up December 10th\, 2020 you can join an online webinar that will allow you to inspect the system yourself instead of hiring a professional to do it for you. The workshop is taught by Clark County Public Health and will teach participants how to inspect their gravity-fed septic systems and safely maintain their well water. Completing the workshop and a short exam will certify participants in a one-time inspection of their septic system. \nHaving your septic system inspected by a professional\, costs around $100. Getting certified in our class is only $15\, saving homeowners money.  “Getting certified is also a good long-term investment and participants will learn how to spot problems faster so they can have them fixed rather than looking at a costly system replacement\, \, says Teresa Koper\, Program Coordinator” \nThe Small Acreage Program\, co-sponsored by Washington State University Clark County Extension and Clark County Public Works Clean Water\, will provide information\, handouts\, and answer landowners’ questions at the workshop. \n “Well & Septic Inspection Certification and Maintenance” \nThursday\, December 10th\, 2020 \n6:00 to 8:00 PM \nOnline Webinar \nRegistration is $15 per person and class size is limited.   To register and find more details visit https://ws12102020.bpt.me or email teresa.koper@wsu.edu or call 564-397-5729. \n  \nWSU Extension programs and employment are available to all without discrimination. Persons requiring special accommodations should call WSU Clark County Extension at (564) 397-5729 at least two weeks prior to the event.
