DESCRIPTION:We begin our 2020 tour season with a visit to Dennis’ 7 Dees newest retail store in Bridgeport Village Shopping Center. The focus is on houseplants at this urban plant\, gift and design shop. The dynamic Nicole Forbes will inspire us with ideas on the use of greenery and plants for inside the home. \nNext up is a tour of Bob’s Red Mill factory in Milwaukie. Bob’s was one of the first flour mills to build labs that tested their product to certify organic and gluten-free compliance. You can shop for hundreds of grains in their store. \nThen we’re back to Vancouver to Aitkens Salmon Creek Garden. What could brighten your home’s interior better than a colorful display of orchids? This elegant flower will add grace and color to your home. Learn how they are hybridized and meet “Emeritus Judges” Barbara and Terry who invite us to tour their large greenhouse specializing in orchids and all types of iris. \nThurs.\, Mar. 12\, from 9am to 5pm.
