Pruning to Keep the Natural Look of Your Plants Workshop

Would you like to learn how to prune your ornamental plants so they keep their natural shape instead of looking like tight balls or boxes? Want to learn when to prune for maximum flowering and good health?
Allen Wilson writer of a weekly garden column in The Columbian newspaper will demonstrate the types of pruning cuts and methods which will allow you to keep your shrubs’ and small trees’ natural look. Allen has been developing his natural pruning methods for over 50 years.
Handouts will be provided.
Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 10am to 12:30pm at Pacific Park Natural Demonstration Area;
NE 18th St & NE 172nd Ave., Vancouver, WA 98684. FREE with 45 minutes of service at the demo garden.
Bring a lawn chair and your work clothes. We’ll do some maintenance in the demo garden after the workshop. This workshop is put on in conjunction with Clark County Public Health – Solid Waste Outreach.
